<ul><li>Prepare patients for cardiac catheterization and other cardiovascular procedures by explaining the process and answering any questions.</li><li>Assess the patient’s medical history, including any allergies, medications, and prior conditions, to ensure a safe procedure.</li><li>Start IV lines, administer pre-procedural medications, and monitor vital signs before the procedure.</li><li>Ensure all necessary documentation, consents, and pre-procedure checklists are completed.</li><li>Assist the cardiologist or interventional radiologist during cardiac catheterizations, angiograms, stent placements, pacemaker insertions, and other procedures.</li><li>Operate and manage specialized cathlab equipment, such as monitoring systems, defibrillators, and ECG machines.</li><li>Monitor patient’s vital signs, oxygen levels, and overall condition during the procedure, responding to any signs of distress or complications.</li><li>Maintain sterile techniques and assist with the proper positioning of the patient and medical devices during the procedure.</li></ul>
