<ul><li>Assess and prepare patients for catheterization procedures, including obtaining medical histories, conducting physical assessments, and ensuring informed consent.</li><li>Educate patients and their families about the procedure, including potential risks, benefits, and post-procedural care.</li><li>Coordinate with the cardiology team to ensure all necessary equipment and supplies are available and functioning.</li><li>Assist cardiologists and interventional cardiologists during catheterization and other cardiac procedures by providing support with sterile techniques, handling instruments, and monitoring patient vitals.</li><li>Monitor patients’ vital signs and reactions during the procedure, and provide immediate intervention as needed.</li><li>Ensure the safety and comfort of patients throughout the procedure, addressing any concerns or issues promptly.</li><li>Provide comprehensive post-procedural care, including monitoring patients for complications, managing pain, and ensuring proper recovery.</li><li>Conduct and document post-procedural assessments, including monitoring vital signs, incision sites, and overall patient condition.</li></ul>
