Description

Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the catheterization lab, including scheduling, staff management, and ensuring that procedures are conducted efficiently and safely.
Staff Supervision: Manage and supervise the cath lab team, including cardiologists, radiologic technologists, nurses, and support staff. Provide training, support, and performance evaluations.
Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that all cath lab equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and serviced. Coordinate with biomedical engineers for repairs and upgrades.
Quality Assurance: Monitor and ensure adherence to quality control standards and protocols. Implement and enforce best practices and safety procedures to maintain high standards of patient care.
Patient Care: Ensure that patients receive proper care and support before, during, and after procedures. Address any patient concerns and ensure a positive patient experience.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of procedures, patient information, and equipment usage. Ensure compliance with medical and legal documentation requirements.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety regulations, infection control protocols, and accreditation standards. Keep up-to-date with industry standards and regulatory changes.
