Procedure Assistance: Assist cardiologists during catheterization procedures, including angiograms, angioplasty, and pacemaker implantation.
Equipment Operation: Prepare, operate, and maintain specialized equipment such as fluoroscopy machines and cardiac monitors.
Patient Preparation: Help position patients, explain procedures, and ensure comfort while maintaining sterile conditions.
Monitoring: Monitor patients' vital signs during procedures and report any abnormalities promptly to the medical team.
Documentation: Record procedural details, including measurements, findings, and patient responses, accurately in medical records.
Radiation Safety: Ensure compliance with radiation safety protocols to protect patients and staff.
Inventory Management: Manage and restock supplies, instruments, and consumables needed for cath lab procedures.
Emergency Response: Assist in managing critical situations, including CPR and the use of emergency equipment.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with cardiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless workflow.
