Description

Provide immediate medical assessment and treatment to patients presenting in the casualty department, including those with trauma, medical emergencies, and minor injuries.
Conduct thorough clinical evaluations, including history-taking, physical examinations, and diagnostic investigations, to determine the nature and severity of patients' conditions.
Initiate appropriate interventions and treatments according to established protocols and guidelines, ensuring patient safety and well-being.
Perform emergency procedures such as wound care, suturing, splinting, and basic life support measures as needed.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as X-rays, blood tests, and imaging studies to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning.
Coordinate with other healthcare team members, including nurses, paramedics, and specialists, to optimize patient care and outcomes.
Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing explanations of diagnoses, treatment options, and follow-up care plans.
Document patient assessments, interventions, and clinical progress accurately and comprehensively in medical records.
