Contributing clinical expertise to patient care and providing guidance to junior physicians.
Performing administrative duties and risk management.

Emergency Patient Assessment: Perform rapid assessment and diagnosis of patients in the emergency room, prioritizing treatment based on the severity of their conditions (triage).
Immediate Medical Intervention: Provide urgent medical care, including resuscitation, stabilization, and treatment for trauma, heart attacks, strokes, fractures, and other emergencies.
Coordination of Care: Collaborate with specialists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure timely and appropriate referrals for patients requiring specialized care or surgery.
Monitoring and Follow-up: Continuously monitor patients in the casualty department, making critical decisions on treatment plans and adjusting interventions based on changes in patient condition.
Communication with Families: Inform and communicate with patients' families about the condition, prognosis, and treatment options, offering support in critical situations.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate medical records of all treatments, procedures, and patient progress, ensuring compliance with hospital policies and legal requirements.
Compliance with Protocols: Follow established emergency care protocols and guidelines, including infection control and safety measures, to maintain high-quality care and patient safety.
Training and Supervision: Provide guidance and support to junior doctors, nurses, and medical interns working in the casualty department, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
