Cardiology Technician

Duties & Responsibilities:

Cardiology Department has a primary role in conducting tests of TMT, ECG, Holter, PFT and ECHO and maintenance of their Department. Responsibility at various levels within the Department is as follows:

• Setting up Testing Department.
• Receiving of Inventory in the System.
• Proper Functioning of Equipment's.
• Maintaining Departmental Record of Cleaning/House Keeping.
• Calling of Patient.
• Comparing the Test Requisition in System with that of Prescription.
• Consent Form Signing wherever required.
• Preparing the Patient for Test/ Explaining the procedure in brief.
• Marking Completion of Test in the system and patients Slip.
• Making Report in LIM and approval by Reporting Consultant.
• Printing of Labels/Film/Graphs and packing.
• Forwarding of Report to Reception and Acknowledgement.
• Inform Maintenance in case of Machine breakdown/or any other maintenance issues.
