Description

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide expert cardiac care to patients with various cardiovascular conditions, including coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, and valvular heart disease.
  2. Perform comprehensive cardiac evaluations, including history-taking, physical examinations, and interpretation of diagnostic tests such as electrocardiograms (ECGs), echocardiograms, stress tests, and cardiac catheterizations.
  3. Diagnose cardiac conditions accurately and develop individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based guidelines and best practices.
  4. Perform interventional procedures such as cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, and stent placement, as needed, to manage coronary artery disease and other cardiac conditions.
  5. Manage acute cardiac emergencies, including myocardial infarction (heart attack), arrhythmias, and acute heart failure, with prompt and effective intervention.
  6. Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, including cardiovascular surgeons, cardiac electrophysiologists, cardiac rehabilitation specialists, and allied health professionals, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
  7. Educate patients and their families about cardiovascular health, risk factors, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications to promote heart health and prevent disease progression.
  8. Participate in cardiac rehabilitation programs and community outreach initiatives to raise awareness about cardiovascular disease prevention and management.
  9. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
  10. Stay abreast of advances in cardiovascular medicine, technology, and treatment modalities through continuous medical education and professional development activities.

Qualifications:

  1. Medical degree (MD/DNB) in Medicine followed by DM/DNB in Cardiology from a recognized institution.
  2. Valid medical license to practice in Gujarat, India.
  3. Minimum of [insert number of years] years of clinical experience as a Cardiologist, preferably in a hospital or clinic setting.
  4. Proven expertise in the diagnosis and management of a wide range of cardiovascular conditions.
