Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert cardiac care to patients with various cardiovascular conditions, including coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, and valvular heart disease.
- Perform comprehensive cardiac evaluations, including history-taking, physical examinations, and interpretation of diagnostic tests such as electrocardiograms (ECGs), echocardiograms, stress tests, and cardiac catheterizations.
- Diagnose cardiac conditions accurately and develop individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based guidelines and best practices.
- Perform interventional procedures such as cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, and stent placement, as needed, to manage coronary artery disease and other cardiac conditions.
- Manage acute cardiac emergencies, including myocardial infarction (heart attack), arrhythmias, and acute heart failure, with prompt and effective intervention.
- Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, including cardiovascular surgeons, cardiac electrophysiologists, cardiac rehabilitation specialists, and allied health professionals, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
- Educate patients and their families about cardiovascular health, risk factors, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications to promote heart health and prevent disease progression.
- Participate in cardiac rehabilitation programs and community outreach initiatives to raise awareness about cardiovascular disease prevention and management.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
- Stay abreast of advances in cardiovascular medicine, technology, and treatment modalities through continuous medical education and professional development activities.
Qualifications:
- Medical degree (MD/DNB) in Medicine followed by DM/DNB in Cardiology from a recognized institution.
- Valid medical license to practice in Gujarat, India.
- Minimum of [insert number of years] years of clinical experience as a Cardiologist, preferably in a hospital or clinic setting.
- Proven expertise in the diagnosis and management of a wide range of cardiovascular conditions.
