Cardiac Sonographer

Job Description

• Performing Echocardiograms: Operating ultrasound equipment to capture images of the heart, including its structure, chambers, valves, and blood flow.
• Patient care: Preparing patients for exams, explaining procedures, ensuring comfort, and addressing concerns.
• Image analysis: Identifying abnormalities or anomalies in images, such as valve disorders, heart defects, or cardiac function issues.
• Equipment maintenance: Ensuring the proper functioning, calibration, and maintenance of ultrasound equipment.
• Record keeping: Maintaining detailed records of procedures, patient information, and imaging results.
• Collaboration: Working closely with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnosis and treatment.
