  1. Job Title: Cardiac Scrub Nurse

Job Description

  1. Assist cardiac surgeons during open-heart and other cardiac surgeries.
  2. Prepare and sterilize all surgical instruments, equipment, and disposables.
  3. Maintain sterile field and adhere to infection control protocols.
  4. Monitor instruments, sutures, and implants during surgery.
  5. Coordinate with anesthesiologists, perfusionists, and OR staff for smooth workflow.
  6. Document surgical procedures, instruments used, and patient details.
  7. Assist in patient preparation and positioning for cardiac surgery.
  8. Ensure availability of emergency supplies and backup equipment.
  9. Supervise and guide junior scrub nurses in the cardiac OT.
  10. Follow hospital protocols, safety standards, and NABH guidelines.
