BMT Staff Nurse

• Provide nursing care to patients undergoing autologous or allogeneic bone marrow/stem cell transplants.
• Prepare patients for transplant procedures including central line care, conditioning regimens, and supportive treatments.
• Monitor vital signs, manage IV infusions (chemo, TPN, antibiotics), and assess patient responses.
• Observe for and manage transplant-related complications such as GVHD (Graft vs. Host Disease), infections, mucositis, and febrile neutropenia.
• Adhere strictly to protective isolation protocols and infection control standards (HEPA-filtered rooms, PPE use).

Provide emotional and psychological support to patients and families throughout the transplant process.
