Perform venipuncture and fingerstick procedures for blood donation.
Follow established protocols to collect blood samples from donors with precision and professionalism.
Separate blood into its components, including red blood cells, plasma, and platelets, using centrifugation and filtration techniques.
Ensure the proper handling and labeling of blood products.
Conduct blood typing and crossmatching procedures to determine blood compatibility for transfusions.
Interpret and report blood group results accurately.
Conduct regular quality control checks on equipment, reagents, and processes.
Monitor and maintain the quality of blood products throughout processing and storage.
Accurately document donor information, test results, and blood product details.
Maintain confidential and organized records in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Interact effectively with blood donors, healthcare professionals, and laboratory staff.
Communicate clearly and report any abnormalities or issues promptly.
