Description
- Collect, process, and store blood and blood products, ensuring proper labeling and documentation for accurate record-keeping.
- Perform blood typing, crossmatching, and compatibility testing to ensure safe transfusion practices.
- Conduct tests to detect infections (e.g., HIV, Hepatitis) in donated blood, following safety and regulatory protocols.
- Prepare and maintain blood products, including red blood cells, platelets, and plasma, in accordance with established guidelines.
