Description

Install, maintain, or provide technical support for biomedical equipment.
Commissioning, training, creating the master asset list of the devices in the entire hospital, QA(Quality Assurance) for radiology devices and managing the gas plants etc.
Once the device is in use, it has to undergo periodic action plans and management of maintenance contracts along with calibration.
Finally all the above processes need to be stored and documented in the database for future reference.
Design and develop medical devices, equipment, and systems, including diagnostic imaging devices, patient monitoring systems, prosthetic devices, and therapeutic equipment, in accordance with user needs and regulatory requirements.
Conduct research and feasibility studies to evaluate new technologies, materials, and design concepts for biomedical applications, with a focus on improving safety, efficacy, and usability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including physicians, clinicians, scientists, and manufacturing personnel, to define project requirements, establish design specifications, and ensure successful product development and implementation.
Utilize CAD software and simulation tools to create 2D/3D models, prototypes, and virtual simulations of biomedical devices and systems for design validation and optimization.
Perform testing, validation, and verification activities to assess the performance, reliability, and safety of biomedical equipment and systems, including bench testing, functional testing, and clinical trials.
Document design processes, test protocols, and technical specifications in compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., FDA, ISO) and company policies.
