Description

Design and develop medical devices and technologies, including implants, prosthetics, diagnostic equipment, and rehabilitation devices, from concept to commercialization.
Conduct research and feasibility studies to identify user needs, evaluate technical requirements, and explore innovative solutions to healthcare challenges.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including clinicians, researchers, scientists, and other engineers, to translate user needs into product specifications and design requirements.
Use CAD software and other design tools to create detailed product designs, prototypes, and engineering drawings, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices.
Perform simulations, modeling, and analysis to evaluate device performance, optimize designs, and predict behavior under various operating conditions.
Conduct bench testing, validation studies, and preclinical trials to assess device functionality, safety, and efficacy, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Document design processes, test protocols, and results in accordance with quality management systems and regulatory guidelines, ensuring traceability and accountability throughout the development lifecycle.
Collaborate with manufacturing, quality assurance, and regulatory affairs teams to support the transfer of products from development to production and obtain regulatory approvals.
