Job Description

1. Install, test and commission medical equipment as per manufacturer and hospital standards.
2. Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize equipment downtime.
3. Ensure uninterrupted functioning of critical life-saving medical equipment.
4. Maintain calibration, safety and statutory compliance records accurately.
5. Coordinate with vendors for repairs, warranty claims and AMC/CMC services.
6. Provide technical support for OT, ICU and emergency medical equipment.
7. Train clinical staff on safe operation and handling of medical devices.
8. Assist in biomedical equipment audits and ensure NABH compliance.
9. Maintain asset inventory, service history and equipment documentation.
10. Support evaluation and procurement of new medical equipment.
