Description

Design, develop, and test medical devices and equipment, including diagnostic devices, therapeutic equipment, prosthetics, and rehabilitation devices, to meet clinical needs and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals, clinicians, and researchers to identify clinical needs, assess technical feasibility, and develop innovative solutions to address medical and healthcare challenges.
Conduct research and development activities to advance biomedical engineering technology, including exploring new materials, sensors, and manufacturing processes for medical device design and production.
Perform risk assessment and mitigation activities for medical devices, including hazard analysis, failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA), and risk management planning, to ensure product safety and reliability.
Develop and implement quality assurance protocols and testing procedures for medical devices, including performance testing, safety testing, and usability testing, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards.
Provide technical support and training to healthcare professionals on the use, maintenance, and troubleshooting of medical devices and equipment, and respond to inquiries and requests for assistance promptly.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, regulatory affairs, and quality assurance, to support the development, production, and commercialization of medical devices.
Stay updated on advances in biomedical engineering technology, research, and regulatory requirements, and apply knowledge to enhance product development processes and improve patient care outcomes.
