Specific Responsibilities

The responsibilities are as follows:

• To provide comprehensive care to patients.
• Be responsible for diagnosis and treatment of all cases pertaining to your specialty.
• Consult the Senior doctors of the department in arriving at a correct decision in making a diagnosis and charting out the treatment.
• Responsible for the clinical care of critically ill patients.
• To be in charge specifically of ventilatory, circulatory fluid and nutritional therapy concerning the patient
• Carry out reviews and investigations on drugs, equipments, physiological and pharmacological as well as other matter relevant to Intensive Care Unit.
• Be available for all calls as and when required.
• Participate in accreditation process of the hospital like NABL, NABH, ISO, JCI, etc.
• Contribute by means of articles in the Newsletter of the hospital.
• Perform any other duty that may be assigned from time to time.
