Description

Perform and interpret advanced diagnostic procedures including flexible bronchoscopy, rigid bronchoscopy, endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS), navigational bronchoscopy, and transbronchial biopsy.
Conduct therapeutic interventions such as endobronchial stent placement, balloon dilation, bronchial thermoplasty, and endobronchial valve placement.
Manage and treat patients with complex respiratory conditions including lung cancer, interstitial lung disease, COPD, pulmonary infections, and pleural diseases.
Utilize advanced imaging techniques and interpret imaging studies relevant to pulmonary diseases and interventions.
Lead and coordinate the interventional pulmonology team including pulmonologists, respiratory therapists, nurses, and support staff.
Foster a collaborative and cohesive team environment, promoting effective communication and teamwork.
Provide mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities to junior medical staff, residents, and fellows.
Participate in clinical research studies, contribute to research publications, and present findings at national and international conferences.
Educate medical students, residents, and healthcare professionals on interventional pulmonology techniques, advancements, and best practices.
Stay updated with the latest developments in interventional pulmonology through continuous medical education (CME) activities.
