Warehouse Operations Management: Oversee and manage day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, inventory management, and dispatch of goods, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
Inventory Control: Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct regular stock audits, and implement inventory control measures to minimize discrepancies and optimize stock levels.
Team Leadership and Supervision: Lead and supervise warehouse staff, including training, performance evaluation, and task delegation, ensuring effective team performance and safety compliance.
Logistics Coordination: Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and transport providers to ensure the timely receipt and dispatch of materials and products, optimizing delivery schedules and routes.
Warehouse Layout and Space Optimization: Plan and manage the warehouse layout to maximize space utilization, ensuring safe and efficient storage of goods and materials.
Health and Safety Compliance: Implement and enforce safety regulations and procedures to ensure a safe working environment in the warehouse, minimizing risks of accidents and injuries.
Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and present regular reports on inventory levels, stock movements, warehouse performance, and operational efficiency to senior management.
Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Identify opportunities for process improvements within the warehouse operations, implementing changes to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve overall efficiency.
