Description

Assist in planning, coordinating, and overseeing engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to specifications.
Provide technical guidance and support to engineering teams, including design engineers, project engineers, and technicians, to ensure the successful execution of project deliverables.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, maintenance, procurement, and quality assurance, to ensure alignment and integration of engineering initiatives with overall business objectives.
Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources effectively, identifying and addressing any issues or obstacles that may impact project progress or outcomes.
Conduct regular project meetings and progress reviews, providing updates to stakeholders, identifying risks and mitigation strategies, and ensuring that project milestones are achieved.
Assist in the development and implementation of engineering standards, procedures, and best practices to improve efficiency, quality, and consistency in engineering processes and deliverables.
Support continuous improvement initiatives in engineering operations, identifying opportunities to streamline processes, reduce costs, and enhance productivity.
Assist in the evaluation and selection of vendors, contractors, and suppliers, ensuring that external resources meet project requirements and adhere to quality and safety standards.
Foster a culture of safety, quality, and innovation within the engineering team, promoting adherence to regulatory requirements, ethical standards, and company policies.
Mentor and develop engineering staff, providing coaching, training, and career development opportunities to enhance skills and capabilities.
