Description
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards.
- Oversee and participate in the preparation of complex dishes and ensure consistency in taste and presentation.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff, including cooks and kitchen assistants.
- Provide guidance on cooking techniques, safety procedures, and adherence to recipes.
- Monitor and maintain high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation.
- Conduct regular tastings and inspections to ensure consistency.
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef or Head Chef to execute menu items and daily specials.
- Adapt to changes in menu offerings and seasonal ingredients.
- Ensure the kitchen is organized, clean, and meets safety and sanitation standards.
- Implement efficient storage practices and proper labeling of food items.
