Description

Perform routine dental examinations, screenings, and assessments to evaluate oral health status, detect dental diseases, and identify treatment needs.
Take and interpret dental X-rays, intraoral photographs, and other diagnostic images to aid in the diagnosis and treatment planning process.
Provide preventive dental care services, including dental cleanings, fluoride treatments, sealant applications, and oral hygiene instructions, to promote optimal oral health and prevent dental diseases.
Administer local anaesthesia and/or sedation as needed to ensure patient comfort and manage pain during dental procedures.
Perform restorative dental procedures, such as fillings, crowns, bridges, and root canal therapy, to repair damaged or decayed teeth and restore function and aesthetics.
Extract teeth when necessary due to decay, trauma, or orthodontic reasons, using atraumatic techniques and ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Educate patients about oral health, dental treatment options, and preventive measures, providing personalized recommendations and answering questions to help patients make informed decisions about their dental care.
Collaborate with dental assistants, hygienists, and other dental professionals to coordinate patient care, ensure smooth workflow, and provide a positive patient experience.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, treatment plans, and clinical notes in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and practice policies.
Participate in continuing education programs, professional development activities, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance clinical skills, stay updated on advances in dentistry, and maintain licensure and certification requirements.
