Job Description

1. Assist in the evaluation and management of patients requiring minimally invasive laparoscopic procedures.
2. Support consultants during elective and emergency laparoscopic surgeries across gastrointestinal, hepatobiliary, and gynecologic cases.
3. Manage preoperative and postoperative patient care, including ICU and ward rounds.
4. Perform and interpret relevant investigations under supervision to guide surgical planning.
5. Provide inpatient, outpatient, and emergency laparoscopic surgical services as assigned.
6. Counsel patients and families on minimally invasive surgical options, risks, recovery, and follow-up.
7. Coordinate care with anesthesia, nursing, critical care, and allied health teams.
8. Ensure accurate clinical documentation and adherence to surgical protocols and safety standards.
