<ul><li>Provide timely assessment, resuscitation, and treatment of patients in the emergency department.</li><li>Manage a wide range of medical emergencies and traumatic injuries with proficiency and efficiency.</li><li>Ensure accurate documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, and clinical interventions.</li><li>Lead and participate in trauma resuscitation efforts, including advanced airway management, hemorrhage control, and initial surgical interventions.</li><li>Implement trauma protocols and guidelines to optimize patient outcomes.</li><li>Interpret diagnostic tests and imaging studies to facilitate prompt diagnosis and treatment decisions.</li><li>Utilize point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) and other diagnostic tools effectively in the emergency setting.</li><li>Perform emergent procedures, including but not limited to intubation, central line placement, chest tube insertion, and emergency surgical procedures.</li><li>Administer procedural sedation and manage procedural complications as needed.</li></ul>
