Job Description
- Provide critical care consultations for ICU patients.
- Supervise and guide residents, nurses & ICU staff during patient care.
- Manage ventilators, inotropes, dialysis & advanced life-support systems.
- Respond to medical emergencies & Code Blue situations.
- Conduct daily ICU rounds & treatment planning.
- Coordinate with consultants, surgeons & allied departments.
- Maintain accurate ICU documentation & patient records.
- Counsel patient families regarding prognosis & treatment plans.
- Ensure adherence to ICU protocols, safety standards & hospital policies.
- Participate in clinical audits, teaching & research activities.
