Job Description

  1. Provide critical care consultations for ICU patients.
  2. Supervise and guide residents, nurses & ICU staff during patient care.
  3. Manage ventilators, inotropes, dialysis & advanced life-support systems.
  4. Respond to medical emergencies & Code Blue situations.
  5. Conduct daily ICU rounds & treatment planning.
  6. Coordinate with consultants, surgeons & allied departments.
  7. Maintain accurate ICU documentation & patient records.
  8. Counsel patient families regarding prognosis & treatment plans.
  9. Ensure adherence to ICU protocols, safety standards & hospital policies.
  10. Participate in clinical audits, teaching & research activities.
