Job Description

1. Assist in the diagnosis, monitoring, and management of critically ill patients in the ICU.
2. Support consultants in providing advanced life support, ventilatory care, and hemodynamic management.
3. Perform and interpret relevant investigations including blood gases, imaging, and bedside monitoring.
4. Manage preoperative, postoperative, and emergency critical care patients under supervision.
5. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including anesthesia, surgery, cardiology, and nursing staff.
6. Counsel patients’ families regarding prognosis, treatment plans, and ICU care.
7. Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to ICU protocols, patient safety, and infection control standards.
8. Participate in clinical audits, research, teaching, and continuous professional development.
