Job Description

1. Administer anesthesia for adult and pediatric cardiac surgeries, including CABG, valve repair/replacement, and congenital procedures.
2. Conduct pre-operative assessments and optimize high-risk cardiac patients.
3. Monitor and manage intra-operative hemodynamics, ventilation, and anesthesia depth.
4. Utilize advanced monitoring techniques such as transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) and invasive lines.
5. Provide post-operative care in cardiac ICU, including pain management and hemodynamic support.
6. Assist in emergency cardiac procedures and on-call duties.
7. Collaborate closely with cardiothoracic surgeons, perfusionists, and ICU teams for patient safety.
8. Supervise and mentor junior anesthetists, residents, and OT staff.
