Description

Provide leadership and direction to nursing staff, including registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and nursing assistants, to ensure the delivery of safe, effective, and compassionate patient care.
Collaborate with the Nursing Superintendent and other healthcare leaders to develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and standards that align with regulatory requirements and evidence-based practices.
Supervise and evaluate the performance of nursing staff, providing regular feedback, coaching, and support to promote professional growth and development.
Oversee the allocation and utilization of nursing resources, including staffing assignments, scheduling, and workload management, to optimize patient care outcomes and operational efficiency.
Monitor and evaluate nursing care delivery systems and processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance quality, safety, and patient satisfaction.
Participate in interdisciplinary meetings, committees, and quality improvement initiatives to address patient care issues, promote collaboration, and achieve organizational goals.
Serve as a clinical resource and mentor to nursing staff, providing guidance on complex patient care situations, evidence-based practices, and professional standards.
