Application Support Engineer

Application Support:

• Provide first and second-level support for hospital applications, including Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, Patient Management Systems, and other clinical and administrative software.
• Monitor application performance and respond to incidents in a timely manner, ensuring minimal disruption to hospital operations.

Issue Resolution:

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues, working closely with end-users to understand and address their concerns.
• Escalate complex issues to third-level support or software vendors as necessary and follow up to ensure resolution.

Maintenance and Updates:

• Perform regular maintenance tasks such as updates, patches, and configuration changes to ensure applications are up-to-date and secure.
• Coordinate with the IT team and software vendors for the installation of new software releases and system upgrades.

User Training and Documentation:

• Develop and conduct training sessions for end-users to enhance their understanding and use of hospital applications.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation on application configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with clinical and administrative staff to understand their needs and provide appropriate technical solutions.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates on application status, issues, and resolutions.

Compliance and Security:

• Ensure all applications comply with hospital policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Implement and adhere to data security protocols to protect patient information and maintain confidentiality.
