Description

ANM-related work includes maternal and child health along with family planning services, health and nutrition education, efforts for maintaining environmental sanitation, immunisation for the control of communicable diseases, treatment of minor injuries, and first aid in emergencies and disasters.
Deliver basic healthcare services to individuals and communities, with a focus on maternal and child health, family planning, immunization, and health promotion
Conduct antenatal assessments, assist with deliveries, provide postnatal care to mothers and newborns, and offer guidance on breastfeeding and infant care.
Educate individuals and couples on contraceptive methods, provide family planning counseling, and facilitate access to contraceptive services.
Organize and conduct immunization sessions, maintain immunization records, and ensure adherence to immunization schedules.
Educate communities on hygiene, sanitation, nutrition, and preventive healthcare practices. Provide counseling on lifestyle modifications and disease prevention.
Perform basic clinical procedures such as administering injections, dressing wounds, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with minor surgical procedures.
