Description

Conduct thorough preoperative assessments of patients to evaluate their medical history, current health status, and anesthesia requirements.
Review patient medications, allergies, and laboratory test results to develop individualized anesthesia plans.
Communicate with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare team members to coordinate perioperative care and ensure patient safety.
Administer various types of anesthesia, including general, regional, and local anesthesia, according to established protocols and patient needs.
Monitor patients' vital signs, such as heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation, throughout the surgical procedure.
Adjust anesthesia levels and medications as needed to maintain optimal patient comfort and physiological stability.
Manage airway, ventilation, and circulation to support patient safety and well-being during anesthesia induction, maintenance, and emergence.
Collaborate with surgeons and surgical team members to provide anesthesia support during surgical procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Anticipate and respond to intraoperative complications, such as hypotension, hypoxemia, and allergic reactions, with prompt intervention and appropriate measures.
Monitor and maintain adequate depth of anesthesia and analgesia throughout the surgical procedure, adjusting anesthetic agents and techniques as necessary.
