Description

Assess patients' medical history, physical condition, and laboratory results to determine the appropriate type and dosage of anesthesia for surgical procedures.
Administer anesthesia, including general anesthesia, regional anesthesia, and monitored anesthesia care, using various techniques such as inhalation, intravenous, and nerve blocks.
Monitor patients' vital signs, including heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen saturation, and respiratory status, throughout the perioperative period to ensure their safety and well-being.
Adjust anesthesia levels and administer medications as needed to maintain patients' physiological stability and manage intraoperative complications.
Provide anesthesia support for a wide range of surgical procedures, including but not limited to, orthopedic surgery, general surgery, neurosurgery, obstetrics, and pediatric surgery.
Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement perioperative care plans tailored to patients' individual needs.
Manage post-operative pain through the administration of analgesic medications, nerve blocks, epidural infusions, and other pain management techniques.
Monitor patients' recovery from anesthesia and assess their readiness for discharge from the post-anesthesia care unit (PACU) to the surgical ward or home.
