Description

Conduct thorough preoperative evaluations of patients, including reviewing medical history, performing physical exams, and assessing anesthesia risks.
Develop individualized anesthesia care plans based on patient health status, surgical procedure, and anticipated needs.
Discuss anesthesia options, risks, and benefits with patients and obtain informed consent.
Administer various types of anesthesia, including general, regional, and local, as appropriate for surgical procedures.
Monitor patients' vital signs, including heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen saturation, and respiratory rate, throughout the procedure.
Adjust anesthesia levels and medications as needed to ensure patient comfort and safety.
Manage anesthesia delivery and adjust techniques based on patient responses and surgical requirements.
Collaborate with the surgical team to coordinate anesthesia care with the progression of the surgical procedure.
Address and manage any intraoperative complications or emergencies, such as allergic reactions, hemodynamic instability, or airway issues.
