Description

Conduct comprehensive preoperative evaluations of patients, including reviewing medical histories, physical examinations, and laboratory results.
Assess and discuss anesthesia options with patients, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
Select and administer appropriate anesthetic agents and techniques based on the type of surgery, patient condition, and medical history.
Monitor patients’ vital signs, including heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen levels, throughout the surgical procedure.
Adjust anesthetic levels and interventions as needed to ensure patient safety and comfort.
Continuously monitor and assess patients' responses to anesthesia during surgery and take corrective actions as necessary.
Manage any complications or adverse reactions related to anesthesia, providing timely interventions to address issues.
Collaborate with surgeons, surgical teams, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to patient care.
Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding anesthesia plans, risks, and post-operative care instructions.
