Description

Perform pre-anesthetic assessments and evaluations of patients to determine their suitability for anesthesia and develop individualized anesthesia care plans.
Administer various types of anesthesia, including general, regional, and local anesthesia, using appropriate techniques and medications to ensure patient comfort and safety during surgical procedures.
Monitor patients' vital signs, including heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen saturation, and temperature, throughout the perioperative period and adjust anesthesia as needed to maintain physiological stability.
Manage patients' pain and anesthesia-related complications during surgery and in the immediate postoperative period, including airway management, hemodynamic stabilization, and fluid resuscitation.
Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients undergoing surgical procedures.
Provide consultation and perioperative medical management for patients with complex medical conditions or special anesthesia requirements.
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and educational activities to enhance patient care, safety, and outcomes.
Stay up-to-date on advancements in anesthesia techniques, medications, and equipment, and participate in continuing medical education (CME) activities to maintain licensure and certification.
