Description

Preoperative Preparation: Assist in preparing patients for anesthesia by checking medical histories, explaining the anesthesia process, and ensuring all necessary equipment is ready for use.
Equipment Setup: Set up and check anesthesia delivery systems and monitoring equipment, ensuring they are functioning correctly and ready for the surgical procedure.
Monitoring During Surgery: Monitor patients’ vital signs (such as heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation) and anesthesia levels throughout surgical procedures to ensure patient safety and comfort.
Assistance to Anesthesiologists: Assist anesthesiologists during the administration of anesthesia, providing necessary instruments and supplies, and helping to position patients appropriately.
Post-Anesthesia Care: Help in the transfer of patients to recovery areas after surgery and monitor their vital signs, ensuring they are stable and responding appropriately as anesthesia wears off.
Inventory Management: Maintain and manage anesthesia supplies and equipment, ensuring that stocks are sufficient and that all equipment is clean, functional, and properly stored.
Documentation: Keep accurate records of anesthesia administration, including types of anesthesia used, dosages, and patient responses, for compliance with medical regulations and standards.
Adherence to Safety Protocols: Follow strict safety and infection control protocols, ensuring that all procedures meet regulatory standards and contribute to a safe operating environment.
