Description

Proficiency in operating and maintaining anesthesia delivery systems, including anesthesia machines, vaporizers, ventilators, and monitoring devices.
Knowledge of anesthesia equipment setup, calibration, and troubleshooting to ensure proper functioning and safety during procedures.
Ability to monitor patient vital signs, including blood pressure, heart rate, oxygen saturation, and respiratory status, before, during, and after anesthesia administration.
Competence in interpreting monitoring data, recognizing abnormalities, and promptly reporting changes to the anesthesia provider.
Skill in assisting with airway management techniques, including intubation, extubation, and airway adjunct placement, under the direction of the anesthesia provider.
Knowledge of airway anatomy, positioning maneuvers, and suctioning techniques to maintain a patent airway and ensure adequate ventilation.
Familiarity with anesthesia medications, including induction agents, muscle relaxants, opioids, and adjunctive medications used for sedation and analgesia.
Ability to prepare and administer medications accurately, following established protocols and medication safety guidelines.
