Description
- Prepare anesthesia machines, workstations, gas lines, suction, and monitoring equipment before each surgery.
- Arrange airway devices, drugs, IV fluids, and consumables as per anesthetist's plan.
- Perform daily safety checks, leak tests, and ensure emergency drugs and crash cart readiness.
- Assist during induction, intubation, and maintenance of anesthesia.
- Continuously monitor patient vital signs and report any abnormalities immediately.
- Manage fluids, medications, and anesthesia equipment under supervision.
- Ensure uninterrupted oxygen and medical gas supply throughout procedures.
- Assist in reversal, extubation , and safe transfer of patients to PACU/ICU with proper handover.
- Clean, disinfect, and restock anesthesia equipment after each case while following infection control protocols.
- Maintain accurate documentation, equipment logs, and compliance with safety standards.
