Position Overview:

  • We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Anesthesiologist to join our dynamic team of healthcare professionals. 
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for administering anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the surgical process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer various types of anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures, including general, regional, and local anesthesia.
  • Monitor patients before, during, and after anesthesia administration to ensure their safety and comfort.
  • Assess patients' medical histories, allergies, and current medications to determine the most appropriate anesthesia plan.
  • Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive patient care plans.
  • Manage anesthesia-related complications and emergencies effectively and efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of anesthesia administration, patient vitals, and other relevant information.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in anesthesia techniques, equipment, and medications.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, continuing education programs, and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Medical degree from a recognized institution.
  • Postgraduate degree or diploma in Anesthesiology.
  • Valid medical license to practice as an Anesthesiologist in Kerala.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working as an Anesthesiologist in a hospital or clinical setting.
  • Strong knowledge of anesthesia techniques, medications, and equipment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
  • Commitment to providing compassionate and high-quality patient care.
  • Willingness to participate in on-call duties and work flexible hours as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Membership in relevant professional organizations (e.g., Indian Society of Anesthesiologists).
  • Experience with advanced anesthesia procedures, such as pediatric anesthesia, obstetric anesthesia, or pain management.
