Description

Patient Assistance: Provide direct support to patients or individuals with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
Mobility Support: Assist patients with transferring from bed to wheelchair, walking, and repositioning to ensure comfort and prevent injury.
Personal Hygiene: Help patients with personal hygiene tasks, including toileting, brushing teeth, and maintaining cleanliness, ensuring dignity and privacy.
Monitoring Health: Observe patients for changes in physical or emotional condition, reporting any concerns to healthcare staff or caregivers.
Meal Assistance: Assist patients with feeding or preparing meals, ensuring that they meet dietary restrictions and preferences.
Physical Exercise: Encourage and assist patients in engaging in light physical activity or exercises to maintain mobility and strength.
Medication Reminders: Remind patients to take prescribed medications on time, under the supervision of a healthcare provider if necessary.
Emotional Support: Provide companionship and emotional support to patients, reducing feelings of isolation and enhancing their quality of life.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of patient care activities, including ADL performance, health observations, and any changes in condition.
Collaboration: Work closely with nurses, doctors, and other caregivers to provide holistic care and ensure patients’ needs are met effectively.
